Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant - Immediate Start (Mile End)
Daily Rate: £95-£105
Must have: DBS on the Update Service + Early Years SEN experience
A warm, inclusive, and community‑focused primary school in the heart of Mile End is seeking an Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant to join their early years team as soon as possible.

Staff work collaboratively to create a happy, stimulating setting where every child is encouraged to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support a child with Special Educational Needs within the Early Years Foundation Stage. The ideal candidate will be confident working 1:1, proactive, and able to adapt activities to meet individual learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide 1:1 SEN support within an Early Years setting as required
· Assist with learning activities, communication development, and play‑based learning
· Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
· Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
· Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
· Essential Requirements:
· Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
· Experience working in Early Years
· Proven SEN experience (essential)
· Strong communication skills and a patient, nurturing approach
· Ability to start immediately
