Job Title: Early Years Lead Practitioner (Classroom Leader)

Hours: Full time or part time available
We are looking for an inspiring and dedicated Early Years Lead Practitioner to take charge of our 2-4 room/ baby room. You will be a "hands-on" leader, bridging the gap between management and the classroom, ensuring that our educational curriculum is delivered with excellence.
Key Responsibilities
• Room Leadership: Oversee the daily running of the classroom, mentoring and supporting a small team of practitioners and assistants.
• Curriculum Planning: Lead the planning and implementation of age-appropriate, creative, and challenging activities based on the EYFS.
• Quality of Care: Ensure the room environment is safe, stimulating, and inclusive for all children.
• Assessment Lead: Oversee the quality of observations and developmental tracking within your room, ensuring every child’s "learning journey" is accurate and up to date.
• Safeguarding: Act as a role model for safeguarding within the room, ensuring all daily checks are completed and any concerns are escalated immediately to the Manager.
• Transition Management: Support children and parents during transitions (e.g., moving from the baby room to toddlers).
Requirements
• Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 in Early Years (Level 4 or above is an advantage).
• Experience: At least 2–3 years of experience in a childcare setting with some experience supervising others.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of the EYFS, excellent organizational skills, and a "can-do" attitude.
