Link3 Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established Multi-Academy Trust and a number of mainstream primary schools to recruit skilled and passionate Intervention Teachers for short- and long-term supply roles starting after February half term.

These roles focus on delivering targeted interventions to support pupils who need additional help to reach their full potential, while offering flexibility and meaningful impact.

    The Role

    As an Intervention Teacher, you will work with individuals and small groups of pupils to deliver focused, high-impact interventions that support progress in key areas such as phonics, reading, writing, and mathematics. You will help close learning gaps and build pupils’ confidence and independence.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Plan and deliver targeted intervention sessions based on pupil needs


    • Support pupils to make accelerated progress in identified areas


    • Use assessment information to adapt and refine interventions


    • Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and support staff


    • Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback to school staff


    • Create a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment


    • Promote pupils’ confidence, engagement, and resilience


    • Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times


      The Ideal Candidate Will Have
      • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent


      • Experience delivering interventions in a mainstream primary setting


      • Strong knowledge of phonics, literacy, and/or numeracy interventions


      • The ability to engage and motivate pupils who require additional support


      • A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach


      • A passion for education and making a real difference
