Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy Nursery Manager to join a high-quality childcare setting in Pinner. This is a senior leadership role for a professional who is passionate about maintaining excellence in EYFS standards and supporting the Nursery Manager in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership Support: Assist the Nursery Manager in the daily management of the setting, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Ofsted Compliance: Uphold all statutory requirements and ensure the nursery is always "Inspection Ready".
Staff Mentoring: Lead and inspire the practitioner team, conducting peer observations and supporting professional growth.
Curriculum Oversight: Ensure the delivery of a high-quality, creative EYFS curriculum across all rooms.
Safeguarding: Act as a Deputy Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to ensure the highest standards of child protection.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications: Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years (Level 5 or Degree is highly preferred).
Experience: Proven experience in a Deputy Manager or Senior Lead role within a UK nursery.
Skills: Strong organizational abilities, excellent communication, and a deep knowledge of Ofsted frameworks.
Location: Must be able to commute easily to Pinner (HA5).
