Summary
Provide advice to Humber Foundation Teaching NHS Trust on planning, strategy and proactively audit health care provision by to maintain standards provide, quality assurance and identify gaps in services in relation to health services for Children Looked After and Young People Ensure that Children Looked After across East Yorkshire receive an equitable health service and that a high standard of health care provision by professionals appropriately trained in the care of Children Looked After is maintained. Contribute to the strategic planning and implementation of health services for Children Looked After including those with complex needs where a higher level of specialist knowledge is required. Develop effective partnerships internally and with relevant agencies and where appropriate integrated working practices to improve the health outcomes for Children Looked After. The Named Nurse CLA will support the work at the interface between key stakeholders and will help to build and facilitate an effective communication strategy engaging with NHS provider trusts across the country wherever children are placed. Work with East Riding Local Authority fostering and adoption teams, voluntary & independent fostering agencies and Childrens homes providing and disseminating good practice and learning to the frontline
