We are determined to move the school forward and are looking for an outstanding TA to join our school team

What is the job role?

At Southfields, our vision is for every child to develop their unique potential and open their minds to what is possible. We recognise that excellent teaching for our children is the key to their success throughout their time in education. We know that excellent teaching and learning does not happen without excellent professional development – a key feature of Southfields’ ethos.

As we continue to develop and relentlessly deliver the very best, we are looking for a TA to join our Key Stage One Team as soon as possible. The position will be class-based and will involve working with individual pupils, small groups and in delivering high-quality interventions.

You may have experience of working in the role / similar role currently, or be open to a new challenge. Either way, we ask that you are open to professional development, love learning and ultimately share our passion to keep innovating to provide better experiences and outcomes for our children. In return, we will guarantee the best possible professional development in the role to ensure you thrive in your chosen career.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an excellent candidate who will:

Have the skills to provide and support outstanding learning opportunities for our wonderful children.

Be passionate about self-improvement and developing practice.

Believe wholeheartedly in ensuring our children achieve the very best.

Support our children in their academic as well as social and emotional development.

Be able to form strong, professional relationships with staff, pupils and parents.

In return, we can offer:

· A wonderful school community.

· Excellent opportunities for your development.

· A commitment to a successful work-life balance.

· A supportive, forward-thinking leadership team who will listen and support your development.

· A well-resourced and welcoming learning environment.

We look forward to welcoming you to our school.
