Summary
The Business Support Manager plays a key role in ensuring the effective, efficient, and operation of the GP practice. Working closely with the Practice Manager, the post holder is responsible for overseeing non-clinical functions including administration, finance support, Estates Support, governance, and operational performance. The role focuses on providing business support to enable high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and sustainable practice development. The Business Support Manager support teams, manages systems and processes, supports service improvement initiatives, and contributes to financial and strategic planning. This role requires strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with a good understanding of primary care operations, NHS frameworks, and data-driven performance management.
