Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Groundworks Ganger to lead and work alongside a gang on civil engineering and groundworks projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily site activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a gang of groundworkers on site

  • Carry out all aspects of groundworks including drainage, ducting, foundations, kerbing, concreting, and excavation

  • Ensure works are completed in line with drawings, RAMS, and programme

  • Maintain high standards of health & safety at all times

  • Coordinate with site management and other trades

  • Ensure tools, materials, and plant are used correctly and safely

  • Carry out hands-on groundworks as required

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Groundworks Ganger or Senior Groundworker

  • EUSR Part 1 & Part 2 (required)

  • Valid CSCS card

  • Fit for Work Medical

  • Strong knowledge of groundworks and utilities environments

  • Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively on site

  • Good understanding of health & safety regulations
