We are seeking a Facilities Manager to lead and manage an operational integrated facilities management team, ensuring the safe, compliant and effective delivery of first-class services to our customer.
In this role, you will take ownership of service excellence, compliance, operational resilience and client satisfaction across an allocated site or group of sites.
Job Description
We are looking for an individual who can nurture strong customer relationships, champion a positive team culture, and drive continuous improvement and value for money.
As the ISS contract representative and primary point of contact, you will set the standard for service delivery, operational leadership and team development.
Key Responsibilities
Manage integrated facilities operations, including planned/reactive maintenance, engineering systems, cleaning and soft services.
Build strong stakeholder relationships through regular site presence and trusted partnership.
Lead the contract management team, ensuring effective delivery, monitoring and continuous improvement.
Embed a strong health and safety culture with full legislative compliance.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, H&S reporting and required contractual documentation.
Oversee recruitment, training and development to support a high‑performing team.
Manage budgets and financial performance to ensure commercially responsible service delivery.
Record and resolve all customer queries and complaints in line with procedures.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Management experience in the public sector or similar environment delivering integrated facilities services.
Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to deliver operational strategy and development plans.
Relevant FM qualification or working towards IWFM Level 4 (or equivalent).
Experience managing technical infrastructure and assets.
Experience delivering soft workplace and facilities services.
Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including experience managing through change.
Customer-focused mindset with strong commercial awareness.
