Summary

Are you passionate about making a positive and lasting difference for some of our most vulnerable children, young people, and families?
Are you looking for a new challenge? Then come and join our new Family solution service. This role will provide professional and practical support to families where their children may need to come into care as it is deemed unsafe at home . This will involve dealing with complex situations where risk is high. This role will undertake family group decision making meetings to identify potential extended family and friends' network who may be able to support and care for the children. This is a new requirement for local authorities. The role will involve support children and families in and outside of their home offering practical support solutions.
You will have good knowledge and understanding of children’s safeguarding work, edge of care support and children in Care. An ability to challenge effectively and support families. Be able to deliver excellent practice whilst prioritising competing demands is essential.
