Part-time Estate Operative - 25 hours per week at Found!
Salary: £25k-£29k - Pro rata for 25 hour week
The Company:
Found is the exclusive in-house operator of market leading UK development FEC… so you just know it’s gotta’ be good right?
And we are on a mission… to be the no.1, experience led, brand-centric 360 lifestyle operator in the UK. Not just for a ‘time in life’, but for a lifetime.
We are searching for an experienced Estate Operative to join Found’s growing team in Manchester! If you love being outdoors and keeping things looking top-notch, this role is for you!
Day to Day Tasks:
The Estates Operative will split their time between Collyhurst and our Commercial Arches sites and ensure their estates are safe and spotless. See below for key responsibilities, but as a business we are all about mucking in, pushing forward and making great things happen.
- Travel between estates, making sure communal areas are clean, safe, and looking immaculate for customers and visitors.
- Grab your tools (hand or power!) to tackle tasks like cleaning, weeding, and removing gum or graffiti.
- Fix up minor repairs and keep street furniture in tip-top shape (think waste bins, gates, fences, bollards etc.).
- Be the hero during icy weather with grit and salt duty.
- Handle waste containers, deep clean with jet washes, and take care of litter.
- Keep the landscape fresh with bark, mulch, and watering (especially during hot days).
- Conduct inspections and whip up reports like a pro.
- Chat with customers, visitors, local authorities, and construction teams to keep things running smoothly.
- Spot any extra tasks needed and make sure paperwork is sorted on time.
- Attend briefings and toolbox talks to stay in the loop.
What You Bring:
- Hold a clean driving license – a company van will be provided!
- You communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, residents and contractors.
- Self-motivated with a sharp eye for detail.
- Comfortable working outdoors, come rain or shine.
- Tech-savvy with tablets and MS Office, and you’re a report-writing whiz.
- Physically able to move loads (you’ll have specialist equipment to help!)
- Well versed in Health and Safety.
- Great with customers and can travel between different estates.
- Dependable and on time, you show up when needed during the day, evening or weekend.
Benefits:
As much as we want you to love working with us, we don’t expect you to do it for nothing, here is what’s in it for you.
- Competitive salary
- Discretionary annual bonus
- 25 days annual leave
- Pension Scheme
- Family friendly policies
- Gym membership discounts, cycle2work, health cash plans and more
- Paid voluntary work
- Employee referral scheme (£500+ for successful placements)
Equal Opportunities:
It is the Company's policy to treat all employees and job applicants fairly and equally regardless of their gender, marital or civil partnership status, race, national or ethnic origin, social or economic background, disability, religious belief, sexual orientation, or age. Furthermore, the Company will ensure that no requirement or condition will be imposed without justification which could disadvantage individuals purely on any of the above grounds.
