Crynodeb

The School of Health and Social Wellbeing are launching a new MSc in Applied Strength and Conditioning; designed to support the development of evidence-informed practitioners working across coaching, performance, health and applied exercise contexts.

As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Strength and Conditioning, you will contribute to a range of educational and programme delivery activities, including teaching, assessment and student support across postgraduate provision. You will also play a key role in curriculum development and quality assurance.

About you

You will have experience of teaching, supporting or developing learners within higher education with the ability to communicate complex and applied concepts. Experience of contributing to curriculum development, applied learning activities or placement support would be advantageous.

A postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline is desirable; however, applicants who can demonstrate postgraduate-level study, substantial professional experience and/or involvement in teaching or practitioner education will also be positively considered.

Accreditation with an appropriate professional body in strength and conditioning or a related discipline would be desirable.

Where you will be working
