Summary
We are seeking motivated and experienced individuals to join our Mental Health Nursing academic team. The postholder will contribute primarily to pre-registration, apprenticeship provision and CPD education.
We are particularly interested in people who have experience working in crisis services, CAMHS services, or older adult/Dementia services.
About you
We currently have two permanent Senior Lecturer posts available to join the team.
You will be an engaging and innovative educator, qualified to a minimum of degree level and registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. Drawing on your experience of mental health practice, you will demonstrate a clear understanding of the contemporary challenges and opportunities within the profession. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential, as you will work collaboratively with colleagues to create an inclusive, supportive and stimulating learning environment.
This is predominantly a teaching-focused post, involving:
• Delivery and development of high-quality teaching and learning
• Academic personal tutoring and Academic Assessor
• Module leadership and curriculum development. There may also be opportunities to contribute to research and knowledge exchange activities aligned with your expertise.
We particularly encourage applications from Global Majority candidates, as we are currently under-represented in this area of the organisation. However, all appointments will be made strictly on the basis of individual merit.
