About the Role
As a Design Engineer, you will play a key role in producing safe, practical, and compliant designs to support access equipment installations across live construction sites. Based near Dartford with regular site visits, the Design Engineer will work closely with internal teams, contractors, and customers to ensure designs are delivered accurately and on time.
Key responsibilities include:
• Producing detailed design and installation drawings using AutoCAD and 3D design software
• Designing interfaces, fixings, and tie arrangements with structures and scaffolding
• Interpreting site drawings, load data, and technical information
• Supporting projects from concept through to site handover
• Updating and improving existing designs in line with current standards and legislation
• Liaising with site teams, contractors, and internal departments
