Summary

We're looking for a Quality Engineer to join our Southern Water team based in Falmer, Brighton.

Location: Falmer, Brighton - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.

Hours: 40 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Join our collaborative team as a Quality Engineer and play a vital role in ensuring excellence across our framework projects. You'll be providing expert guidance, nurturing quality standards, and contributing to successful project outcomes in a supportive and dynamic environment.



What will you be responsible for?

As a Quality Engineer, you'll be working within the Quality team, supporting them in delivering exceptional quality standards across multiple framework projects. Your day to day will include:

-Managing site visits to nurture quality practices throughout project lifecycles, from mobilisation to handover

-Building relationships with project teams and clients to ensure quality requirements are understood and embraced

-Reviewing quality documentation and ensuring inspection test plans are followed with appropriate supporting evidence

-Conducting inspections and sharing insights to develop continuous improvement across projects

-Championing the delivery of the Water Quality Strategy through collaborative engagement with teams

What are we looking for?

This role of Quality Engineer is great for you if:

-You have practical experience in quality control activities within construction

-You enjoy interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to ensure standards are met You're comfortable with digital tools and can maintain clear, thorough records

-You have excellent communication skills and enjoy sharing knowledge with others

-You hold a CSCS card and ideally have ISO 9001 training or professional quality qualifications

We're looking for a Site Manager to join our Highways Maintenance team based in Birmingham.

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

As a Site Manager within our Highways team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of maintenance projects across the region. You'll be part of a collaborative and supportive environment where your expertise will help us deliver high-quality infrastructure that connects communities.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Site Manager, you'll be working within the Highways Maintenance team, supporting them in delivering safe, efficient and sustainable highway solutions. Your day to day will include:

-Managing site operations and coordinating maintenance activities

-Ensuring health and safety standards are met across all project areas

-Building positive relationships with clients and stakeholders

-Supervising and mentoring team members to achieve project goals

-Monitoring progress against programme and resolving any issues promptly

-You're skilled at nurturing relationships and communicating effectively
