We're looking for a Degree Apprentice Design Manager to join our Construction team based in Witham working towards a Level 6 apprenticeship in Construction Management.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on an apprenticeship. Whilst working towards a recognised qualification, you'll be able to put your learnings into practice in your day-to-day role, helping you progress within your chosen career.
Location: Witham, Essex
Hours: 40hrs per week
Salary: £22,000 - with salary earning potential of £35k+ upon completion of the course!
Start date: September 2026

How does a degree apprenticeship work?
As a Degree Apprentice Design Manger, you'll have the opportunity to gain practical experience whilst you study towards a BSc Construction Site Management with our university partner, Sheffield Hallam, all tuition, and accommodation fees covered by us.
You will play a pivotal role in supporting the planning, coordination, and supervision of the design of our projects, on time and to the required quality.

Your day to day will include:
-Assisting in managing the design of a project section or work package where you'll manage the quality and compliance of design.
-Working alongside the wider construction teams and report on the progress of any projects, whilst also liaising with third parties such as clients, consultants, and sub-contractors
-Attending university during pre-determined block weeks to attend lectures and meet other students on your course.

What are we looking for?
To enrol onto your degree, you will need:
-5 GCSE at Grade 4 or above including Maths and English
-2 A-Levels or equivalent Level 3 qualifications (T-Level, BTEC National Certificate / Diploma / Extended Diploma Or Advanced Diploma)
-Other Level 3 BTEC qualifications may also be considered
To apply as a mature student, you will need at least 5 years' experience in a related career.
