About the role
Community Library Assistant Bury Libraries (Part Time, 14.5 hours)
Bury Library Service is seeking an enthusiastic and customerfocused Community Library Assistant to join our team. This parttime role (14.5 hours per week) is based across three locations: Radcliffe, Ramsbottom and Prestwich, with hours worked on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Working under the direction of the Library Supervisor, you will help deliver a wide range of library and public information services. Duties include assisting customers with digital enquiries, cash handling, shelving and maintaining stock, and supporting general daytoday library operations.
We’re looking for someone with proven experience working with the public and handling customer enquiries. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide support to customers and external partners.
