As a Governance and Performance Administrator in our Thameside team, you’ll support the effective delivery of governance, performance, and compliance activities at HMP Thameside. The role supports the Governance and Performance Manager by maintaining administrative systems, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements, and contributing to high performance standards across internal and external stakeholders.

What you’ll do as a Governance and Performance Administrator
- Provide administrative support to the Governance and Performance function, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.
- Collate, maintain, and report on performance data, audits, incidents, complaints, correspondence, and compliance activities.
- Produce reports and respond to information requests within agreed timescales.
- Support external inspections and audits, including HM Inspectorate of Prisons (HMIP).
- Liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, including NOMS, IMB, and MQPL.
- Ensure compliance with Serco policies, Ministry of Justice requirements, and relevant legislation.
- Promote equality, diversity, and professionalism in all areas of work.
