Summary
This is a full-time, permanent position, based out of Hawarden but with UK wide travel, including overnight stays and occasional weekend work. You’ll work both independently and as part of a team across a range of industries, delivering our repair and protection solutions and striving to become a true Belzona product expert as part of our Application Team. You will also provide technical support to the sales team in order to recommend the best technical solutions to customer’s problems.
Key responsibilities include:
• Working alongside a team of experts to carry out site applications of Belzona materials across a variety of projects.
• Liaising with the Applications & Training Manager, Technical Supervisor, site Project Supervisors, and customers to ensure smooth delivery of contracts.
• Systematically and accurately gathering and recording all relevant application data.
• Providing technical services in support of our UK based sales team and customers.
• Offering hands on field-based application support, including customer meetings, on-site supervision and training.
• Troubleshooting during applications and assisting with specifications and product queries.
• Writing application specifications and working recommendations when required.
• Assisting in the preparation and delivery of technical presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Responsible for the preparation and delivery of client training across all project phases and stakeholder levels, both on-site and in our Hawarden office.
• Recommending the appropriate Belzona solutions following a review of gathered information and inspection findings.________________________________________
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
• HND, Degree Apprenticeship, Bachelor’s or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline or similar field.
• A flexible, self-motivated team player.
• Comfortable with manual, hands-on work and practical problem solving.
• Good attention to detail and communication skills.
• Capable of conveying complex information clearly and confidently in front of groups.
• Willingness to travel across the UK, with overnight stays as required.
• Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces (full training provided).
• A solid understanding of health and safety practices.
• A full, clean manual driving licence.
