Summary

Leeds Arts University is the only specialist arts university in the North of England. We have contributed significantly to the development of arts education for over 180 years, and have developed a national and international reputation based on the achievements of our students and staff.

Reporting to the Head of Financial Operations, the post holder will join a small but busy Finance Team. You will carry out a range of duties as designated by the Head of Financial Operations and be responsible for the University’s Purchase Ledger and Purchase Ordering System in accordance with University financial procedures and will, at all times, comply with the Financial Regulations and Procedures.

To be successful in obtaining this role you will possess excellent communication skills and have substantial relevant experience in an Accounts Payable position. You should have work experience of basic accounting principles including ledger reconciliations, prepayments and accruals processes.

This role is based on our Further Education site and as such the successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
