· To use evidence-based principles/current best practice and specialist skills to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.
· To participate in service development projects and QI initiatives, particularly those that highlight the impact of a strong AHP workforce within the paediatric and neonatal unit.
· To provide teaching for more junior therapy staff on the occupational therapy role in neonatal and paediatric interventions.
· To work with the clinical lead paediatric physiotherapist to deliver best patient care on the inpatient wards.
· To collect and analyse data to evaluate the impact of the post and provide recommendations for future service planning.
