Summary

Electrical Tester

We are currently recruiting an experienced Electrical Tester to join a major HS2 infrastructure project. This is a great opportunity to work on one of the UK's largest and most high-profile construction programmes.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical testing across site, ensuring all equipment meets required safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Testing portable appliances (110V and 230V)

  • Testing 400V electrical equipment

  • Completing all relevant test documentation and certification accurately

  • Ensuring work is carried out in line with current regulations and site requirements

Essential Qualifications
  • ECS Gold Card (Electrician grade)

  • 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations

  • C&G 2391 Testing and Inspection (or equivalent)

  • Proven experience in electrical testing

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider project team
