Summary

To line manage and co-ordinate the Procurement Business Partners, ensuring consistency of service for all member Trusts, as well as supporting non-member NHS Trusts and the wider public sector as required. To act as an escalation point for all member Trust procurement enquiries that cant be answered by the assigned Procurement Business Partner. To develop strong relationships with member stakeholders and be viewed as a trusted advisor, as well as supporting non-member NHS Trusts and the wider public sector as required. To have a regular on-site presence at all member Trusts to seek feedback on the Procurement Business Partnering service and identify areas for improvement, as well as continuously promoting new NHS LPP routes to market, products and services. To present NHS LPP as a progressive, proactive, responsive and innovative organisation with a purpose to improve peoples lives through the delivery of best in class procurement, with an ambition to reach world-class To ensure that all procurement advice given is compliant with statutory requirements, as well as relevant local policies / standards / procedures. To understand the contracts that members have in place within scope of all NHS LPP and NHS Procurement Alliance (NPA) category portfolios, as well as the category portfolios of other NHS Procurement hubs and affiliates and undertake analysis to identify opportunities for collaborate procurements and savings efficiency initiatives. To educate member stakeholders on our portfolio and those of our partner organisations/affiliates, as well as supporting non-member NHS Trusts and the wider public sector as required. To understand member Trusts procurement workplans and to continuously support the delivery of these workplans in conjunction with the wider NHS LPP and NPA category teams
