Chef de Partie
Full Time - 48 hours per week 5 days over 7
Up to £32,500 per annum plus service charge
Who we are:
Swinton Estate is situated in the Yorkshire Dales and is one of the largest privately owned estates in England. Constantly
developing we boast Swinton Park, a luxury traditional castle hotel with 42 bedrooms, three holiday cottages and award-winning
Samuel’s Restaurant; a luxurious country club and spa including the contemporary Terrace Restaurant; Swinton Bivouac a glamping
site with tree lodges, yurts and café, and last but by no means least the Swinton cookery school.
Duties include:
* Preparing food using ingredients from our 4-acre walled garden, the wider estate and other local producers.
* Working under the guidance of and reporting to our Executive Chef.
* Working with our team of highly skilled and motivated individuals.
* Running a section within the kitchen.
* Training and supervising junior members of the team.
Candidates should be:
* Experienced at Chef de Partie level in a busy kitchen environment.
* Guest focused.
* Highly motivated with a can-do attitude.
* Able to communicate effectively with team members.
* Focused on providing excellent customer service.
* Committed to a high standard of food delivery.
* Knowledgeable of health and safety, food safety and risk assessments.
* Qualified to Level 2 in food safety.
* Ambitious to succeed and progress in your career.
