Message from the Headteacher

Thank you for your interest in this exciting opportunity. I’m Mike Wilson, Headteacher at St Gregory’s Catholic School, and I’m proud to say that our St Francis de Sales Centre for the Deaf is an integral part of our school community-a flagship Specialist Resource Provision for Deaf students in the South East.

We have big ambitions for this provision. Our goal is to create an environment where Deaf students thrive academically, socially, and personally. That means a Deaf curriculum that opens doors to future careers, cutting-edge technology, and enrichment opportunities like work experience, guest speakers, and trips.

To achieve this, we need a Teacher of the Deaf who shares our vision-someone who will work alongside me and the senior leadership team to shape the future of this flagship provision.

If you’re passionate about making a real difference and want to help us realise our ambitions, we’d love to hear from you. I’d be delighted to offer you a visit or a call to discuss the role further.

Apply today and join us in creating a future full of opportunity for Deaf young people.

– Mike Wilson, Headteacher
