Job Purpose
Sodexo is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead and motivate a dedicated on-site security team at a prestigiousLondon site for a leading FMCG client. This is a high-profile role whereprofessionalism, discretion, and exceptional customer service are essential.
You will overseeday-to-day security operations, ensure full compliance with procedures, and actas a key point of contact for incidents, playing a vital role in protectingpeople, property, and assets.
Key Responsibilities
Site Security Operations
- Oversee daily security operations to ensure the site remains safe, secure, and fully compliant with organisational standards.
- Monitor access control systems, CCTV, and alarm systems to maintain continuous situational awareness.
- Ensure all visitor, contractor, and delivery management processes are followed accurately and professionally.
- Maintain clear communication with building management, facilities teams, and external stakeholders to support smooth site operations.
- Review and update site-specific procedures, assignment instructions, and risk assessments as needed.
- Coordinate with contractors, service partners, and response teams during maintenance activities, testing, and planned events.
- Ensure security equipment (radios, CCTV, access control, panic alarms) remains functional, and report faults promptly.
- Support the planning and implementation of security measures for VIP visits, high‑risk events, or operational changes.
- Promote a strong security culture through visible presence, proactive risk identification, and high professional standards.
Operational & Administrative Support
- Email correspondence
- Liaise with site stakeholders, client representatives, and Sodexo management as required
- Maintain logs, records, and audit trails for incidents, patrols, equipment checks, and alarm activations.
- Ensure assignment instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are kept up to date and followed by the team.
- Support staff performance management through coaching, feedback, training coordination, and documentation of performance concerns.
- Assist in rostering, scheduling, and attendance tracking to ensure adequate staffing and cost control.
- Coordinate mandatory training, refresher courses, and competency assessments, maintaining accurate training records.
- Support audits related to Health & Safety, compliance, and internal policy, ensuring findings are acted on promptly.
What You Bring
Essential
- Valid and in-dateSIA Door Supervisor Licence
- First Aid Certification
- Proven experience in a corporate security environment or similar role
- Strong observational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive in emergency situations
- Good understanding of security procedures and best practice
Desirable
- Previous supervisory or team-leading experience
