Summary
DT and Maths Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing role starting as soon as possible

Duties as DT and Maths Teacher:
- Deliver DT and Maths lessons for KS3 pupils
- Provide general curriculum cover when required
- Use pre-prepared resources to support lesson delivery
- Promote positive behaviour and maintain productive routines
- Support pupils in developing practical skills and mathematical understanding
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of learner needs
- Contribute to collaborative departmental planning
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare
Ideal DT and Maths Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or strong subject teaching experience
- Ability to teach both DT and Maths at KS3 level
- Confident classroom and behaviour management
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to adapt lessons for mixed-ability groups
- Reliable, proactive, and committed to supporting pupil progress
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting well-being
