Summary
PA Support with accessing the community and creating routines.
Preferred days/times: this will need to be arranged each week with the client, so PA needs to be flexible. The hours could be in a block of 3 or split into two 1.5hrs. The main day preferred is a Wednesday.
Tasks/duties: Supporting the client to access the community on a one-to-one basis, encouraging confidence building in a gentle, non‑pressured way.
Supporting activities such as walking, going for drives, or visiting cafés when the employer feels able.
Client main diagnosis: Bipolar Disorder, Personality Disorder, OCD, Anxiety and Depression.
Communication: None.
Moving and Handling: None.
Pets: The client lives on a farm and has chickens, the client likes taxidermy so needs to be comfortable around this.
Client enjoys:
Likes animals.
Taxidermy.
Monsters High and collects the dolls and is hoping to create a room for the collection once it has been decorated.
PA requires a full driving license to have access to the client’s car.
This opportunity is suited for someone who is responsible, reliable, very patient, understanding, friendly, and respectful of others’ privacy, values, and beliefs can instil confidence.
