We are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated individual for the position of Security Controller within a prestigious Banking facility.

Job Overview​

This role plays a vital part in maintaining the safety, security, and smooth operation of the site. The successful candidate will operate as a Security Controller, combining both on-the-ground security duties and control room responsibilities.

As a high-profile environment, the position requires a consistently professional approach and the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, local management, and partner organisations.

The role operates on a four-on/four-off shift pattern, covering both day and night shifts:

06:00-18:00
18:00-06:00

Due to the shift pattern, a high level of flexibility and commitment is essential.

The Role

Reporting all incidents and occurrences accurately and promptly to Security Management.

Conducting patrols as required or in accordance with Assignment Instructions (AIs).

Delivering a high standard of customer service, working in partnership with clients, colleagues, and other service providers.

Undertaking additional duties appropriate to the nature and grade of the role, as required.

Ensuring full compliance with all reasonable management instructions and site procedures.

Managing access control in line with site processes, authorisations, and security protocols.

Monitoring and operating CCTV systems within a control room environment, identifying and responding to suspicious activity.

Coordinating responses to incidents, alarms, emergencies, and other security-related events.

Maintaining accurate logs, records, and reports in a timely and professional manner.

Providing support to visitors, contractors, and staff with security-related enquiries and guidance.

About You

Previous experience in a security role.

A valid SIA Front Line licence in Security Guarding, Door Supervision, or Close Protection is required (CCTV licence desirable).

Knowledge and experience of security systems, including CCTV, access control, and related technologies.

Excellent attention to detail, with a consistent and professional approach to all duties.

Strong teamwork and customer service skills, with the ability to engage confidently with staff, visitors, and clients.
