Summary
Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is currently seeking a dedicated and industry-focused Apprenticeship Trainer to join our Digital and Creative Innovation (DACI) department. This is a fantastic opportunity to support apprentices across digital and creative pathways, working closely with employers to deliver high-quality, impactful training that leads to outstanding outcomes.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
As an Apprenticeship Trainer within DACI, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality training and supporting apprentices throughout their learning journey. Key responsibilities include:
Delivering effective practical and theoretical training across apprenticeship and FE pathways, managing the full learner and employer experience.
Planning, delivering, and assessing learning in line with course specifications, awarding body requirements, and best practice.
Conducting robust apprentice progress reviews with learners and employers, including the development, review, and monitoring of Individual Learning Plans (ILPs).
Designing and maintaining high-quality training and assessment materials, including online and digital resources.
Using college systems and e-platforms (e.g. e-portfolio, Canvas, e-registers) to track progress, provide feedback, and support learner success.
Contributing to quality improvement, curriculum development, and programme evaluation to enhance learner outcomes.
Supporting recruitment, employer engagement, and college events such as Open Days and interviews.
About the Digital and Creative Innovation Team (DACI):
The DACI department is at the heart of digital and creative development at B&FC. We work closely with industry to deliver forward-thinking programmes that equip learners and apprentices with the skills, knowledge, and behaviours needed to thrive in a fast-moving digital economy.
