One of my clients is currently looking to recruit an AC Project and Operations manager with a strong background in air conditioning to oversee a number of AC projects, ensure timely and successful project delivery, and manage operational aspects of the business.
The client base is a mix of commercial, residential and retail and covers London and the South East. There are a number of existing long term clients to guarantee a steady flow of project work but there will also be an element of winning new business and growing the division within the company.
The main duties of the role are as follows:
- Project planning and management.
- Business development.
- Team management.
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders.
- Managing budgets.
- Ensuring health and safety compliance.
- Driving innovation and implementing best practices in air conditioning solutions.
Applicants of the role must be able to meet the following criteria:
- Proven expertise in air conditioning systems, renewable energy technologies, and project management.
- Strong skills in team leadership, operations management, and multitasking for handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client management and stakeholder engagement.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to building and MEP maintenance.
- Proficiency in using relevant software tools for project planning and monitoring.
- Familiarity with budget management and cost control in project execution.
- Relevant certifications in air conditioning and renewable technologies are highly desirable.
- Experience in the building maintenance or facilities management sector is a plus.
