What skills and experience we're looking for
Outwood Academy Hindley is seeking to appoint an experienced candidate to help us provide a safe and progressive environment for learning. The successful candidate will be a strong leader to our Academy Site Team and will provide efficient and effective support to the Business Manager and Principal. You and the site team will be focused on creating a culture of success, via positive and safe learning environments to increase student attainment, achievement and social and emotional development.
We are looking for an experienced and exceptional candidate who has experience of delivering statutory compliance, working closely with the Business Manager to develop a project of works to provide a safe and progressive environment for learning.
Previous experience of working in a Site/Facilities Manager role is essential. The appointed person will be proficient in health and safety management, organised, with a keen attention to detail. You will have experience of Contractor management including auditing and supervision of contractors, team and colleague working practices. You will have a strong track record of effective budget management and develop a 5-year plan for the premises with the Business Manager and Principal. You will have overall responsibility for the site security, opening and closing of the Academy.
