Summary

Our esteemed client, a highly regarded educational institution in the heart of Rugby, Warwickshire, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join their exceptional team. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of our students. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with various learning difficulties, such as autism, dyslexia, or ADHD
- Assisting with the implementation of personalised learning plans and behaviour management strategies
- Collaborating closely with classroom teachers to ensure seamless integration of support measures
- Fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment that empowers students to reach their full potential
- Accompanying students on educational trips and outings, ensuring their safety and engagement

We are seeking an individual who possesses a genuine passion for working with children and a deep understanding of the unique needs of students with special educational requirements. You should have previous experience in a similar role, as well as the ability to adapt your teaching methods to cater to the diverse needs of our learners.

In addition to your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you should be highly organised, patient, and adaptable. The ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow instructions from classroom teachers is essential. A recognised teaching assistant qualification or relevant training would be an advantage, but is not a strict requirement.
