About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and commercially minded Senior Corporate Fundraiser to grow and manage sponsorship and advertising income across Norwood’s events programme.

Working closely with the Head of Events and wider fundraising and marketing teams, you’ll secure and steward corporate sponsors and advertisers, develop creative sponsorship packages, and ensure partners receive a high-quality, professional experience. This role plays a vital part in maximising income from events while building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with corporate supporters.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational, relationship management, and sales skills who enjoys working across teams and delivering tangible results.

About the Fundraising Team

The Fundraising Team at Norwood plays a vital role in enabling our work with neurodiverse children, adults, and families across the Jewish community. The team is responsible for generating sustainable income through events, corporate partnerships, philanthropy, community engagement, and supporter-led fundraising.

Working collaboratively across disciplines, the team designs and delivers a diverse fundraising portfolio including flagship events, community and Young Norwood activity, corporate sponsorship, and major donor engagement. Strong relationships, careful stewardship, and a focus on impact sit at the heart of everything we do.

Your Day to Day

Work closely with important committee members, lay leaders, and Norwood trustees
Attend events and contribute to wider Events team initiatives as required.
Secure and manage brochure advertising and sponsorship across Norwood’s events and initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new corporate sponsors and advertisers.
Ensure sponsorship packages are delivered in full and partners receive agreed levels of promotion.
Research and develop new sponsorship and advertising opportunities using creative and innovative approaches.
Generate new sponsorship leads through research and collaboration with colleagues, trustees, committees, and supporters.
Manage the full sponsorship lifecycle, from initial contact and proposal development through to delivery, income collection, and stewardship.
Work closely with Events, Marketing, production partners, and venues to deliver high-quality sponsor experiences.
Maintain accurate records and income tracking on Raiser’s Edge.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Essential

Experience organising events or working in an events-led environment.
Experience in a sales, sponsorship, or income-generating role.
Strong administrative and organisational experience, including use of databases.
Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Confident relationship-builder with a customer-focused, “can do” approach.
Desirable

Experience working in a fundraising environment.
Experience working with lay committees or volunteers.
Degree or relevant qualification.
Knowledge of the Jewish community.
Experience using Raiser’s Edge or another fundraising CRM.
