Level 2 Early Years Teaching Assistant

East Birmingham | 8:30am – 3:30pm | Monday – Friday | â³ Full-Time

We are also recruiting a Level 2 Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a nursery setting within an inner-city school in East Birmingham.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about early childhood development and keen to support pupils during their crucial early learning stages.

This role is being facilitated through TeacherActive.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold a Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Supporting Teaching and Learning
Have experience working within an Early Years or nursery environment
Be nurturing, patient, and proactive within the classroom
Support children with learning activities, play-based learning, and daily routines
Have the right to work in the UK
Be able to provide 2x references from recent employers
Hold a DBS on the Update Service
or be willing to complete a new DBS check through TeacherActive

Additional Information:
- While this role is based at one nursery school, candidates should be open to working across other nurseries and schools in East Birmingham where required
