Summary

East Birmingham | 8:30am – 3:30pm | Monday – Friday | ⏳ Full-Time

We are currently recruiting a Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to work in a nursery setting within an inner-city school in East Birmingham.

This is a full-time role supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where pupils can thrive.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare
    or a Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification


  • Have previous experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting (private nursery or school-based)


  • Be confident supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing


  • Be enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to safeguarding children


  • Have the right to work in the UK


  • Be able to provide 2x references from recent employers


  • Hold a DBS on the Update Service
    or be willing to complete a new DBS check through TeacherActive


    Additional Information:

    • This role is for a specific nursery school, however suitable candidates should be open to working across other nurseries and schools in East Birmingham when required
