Summary
Job OverviewHorizon Academy Trust is expanding their premises team and is looking to appoint a well-organised and hardworking Senior Site Facilities Officer (SSFO) to be based at Bilton Primary School.
The SSFO plays a key role within school, working closely with other SSFOs, the School Business Manager, the School Leadership Team and the Central Operations Team.Contract and Salary DetailsHours: 25 hours per week all year round*Grade 5, Scp 8-13, £18,124 to £19,638 per annum (actual salary)Contract type: Permanent*The working pattern of hours can be negotiated at interview stage; however, the role must include either an early start of 6am, a later finish time of 6pm or both under a split shift arrangement. There may also be a requirement to work overtime on a weekend and in the evening, where overtime would be payable.Job RequirementsThe successful candidate will:
Manage the security of the school buildings.Take a proactive role in the maintenance, management and cleaning of the school site.Be responsible for ensuring that the school complies with all requirements of health and safety, risk management and statutory testing.Liaise with contractors and external agencies regarding the completion of both planned and reactive maintenance.Further information regarding the post can be found in the job description and person specification.
This role would be perfect for someone who would like to begin, retain or further develop a career in facilities management. A qualification in Health and Safety would be an advantage, but training can be provided if not currently held.
