Summary
Equans is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package. The Assistant Project Manager will assist overall delivery of a variety of Project Works on a large portfolio of client government buildings across the UK. They will support the wider team in the delivery of multiple projects of varying complexity and priorities, with a value range of £20k to £2m. the post holder will lead on delivery of own portfolio of non-complex projects, programmes of works etc, as directed by our senior project managers and project director. The assistant project manager will develop and assist with development of scope of works in line with the desired project outcomes and business case. This is to be within agreed budget requirements, risk profile, and satisfy business objectives in terms of profitability. Work with commercial colleagues in collaboration in ensuring detailed and compliant tender process, outcomes and presentations are in place for their onward governance. Identify, reduce, and outline any statutory and commercial risks associated with the project(s) / Programmes as appropriate. Develop and assist with production and management of project programme of works, ensuring any compliance to agreed timescales and identification and management of slippage and risks. This is a great opportunity for an individual with previous experience in project management, experience in managing programmes of works and high level reporting. What will you deliver?Work with key clients and their stakeholders on project requirements to determine project planDevelop key project documents such as Employers Requirements, Project Execution Plan, Government Soft Landings etcWork with wider projects team and support functions to manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s) “end to end”.Work within the current CDM regulations, assisting team of fulfilling the role of client representative, ensuring appropriate appointments are made and management of PC & PD to ensure they are discharging appropriate dutiesEnsuring compliance with EQUANS policies and proceduresWork closely with relevant client and stake holders to ensure effective and collaborative communication is planned and put into actionShow flexibility and innovation in project solutions, offering own perspectivesEnsure customer acceptance is adhered to, in writing and in line with the project plansSupport commercial team with applications for payment to the benefit of the project and the businessEnsures project documents are complete, current, and appropriately storedWork with PMO function to develop and report on project caseloads, including inputs to project management systemsProvide weekly updates via project management system on progress, status, and financial informationWork in collaboration with colleagues throughout the business to deliver a smooth transition to handover and beyond to “in-use” of new assetsWhat can we offer you?
