East Devon District | £13.69 per hour | Day Shifts | Temporary - Ongoing | Start March

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting General Mobile Operatives to join a recycling and environmental services team covering the East Devon District. This is a hands-on, outdoor role supporting recycling, cleaning, and grounds maintenance operations across multiple locations.

Key Duties

  • Emptying bins across designated sites.

  • General area cleaning and grounds maintenance.

  • Travelling across the district to complete assigned tasks.

  • Working independently across multiple locations.

  • Driving small caged trucks, vans, and similar vehicles.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence - essential.

  • Previous experience as a recycling operative or in a similar manual role.

  • Experience working outdoors in all weather conditions.

  • Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting.

  • Strong teamwork ethic.

  • Reliable, flexible, and self-motivated approach to work.

What We Offer

  • Pay rate of £13.69 per hour.
