Salary
£25,073 to £28,108 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

The Community Engagement team within the Student Living team, are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Business Support Administrator to ensure the seamless operational support and administrative efficiency of our fast-paced team, ultimately helping us connect and engage with the Nottingham community.

Key Responsibilities

As our Business Support Administrator, you will be a central point of support, taking ownership of a variety of tasks, including:

Financial Administration and Reporting: Managing day to day ordering and financial record keeping, responding to departmental finance enquiries and resolve any daily issues and problems.
Operational & Campaign Support: Provide day-to-day administrative support for key community engagement campaigns and initiatives, working with both internal and external stakeholders.
Administrative Management: Handling core administrative functions, including the coordination of stock takes, managing budget processes, maintaining records and assisting with payroll documentation.
Team Efficiency: Ensure the smooth operational running of the team by managing complex and routine administrative tasks.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain professional and effective communication (in person and in writing) with all partners and community members.

What You'll Bring

We are looking for an independent, confident, and proactive individual who meets the following criteria:

Experience & Initiative: Demonstrable ability to work effectively as part of a team while also using initiative to manage tasks independently.
Technical Proficiency: Experience of using Office 365 and core Microsoft Office applications.
Organisational Excellence: Exceptional organisational skills and a proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet strict deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on providing an excellent standard of service.

Hours of Work:

This is a permanent, part time post working 25 hours per week, mainly Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am-5pm. Job share arrangements may be considered.
