Summary
Salary: £25,073 to £28,108 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

An opportunity has become available for staff to join the University’s Research & Innovation Post Award team, in the role of Research Support Administrator.
Research & Innovation (R&I) provides support, advice and guidance to the University’s research community. It also facilitates interaction between academics, research sponsors, and with business, regional and wider communities. R&I Research Operations aims to deliver sector leading, high quality research management support to enable and facilitate research excellence and innovation.
The post sits within the Post Award team, within Research Operations, part of Research & Innovation. The post holder will provide key financial and administrative support within the Post Award team, especially in relation to providing support in the preparation of audit evidence, raising invoices and other general administrative support for Post Award research projects.
The ideal candidate;
Has proven previous experience of working in an administrative or finance role
Has a minimum of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics at grade C or above
Good knowledge of core Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Outlook
Can work both independently and within a team
Has good interpersonal skills
Has good written and communication skills
Has the ability to be flexible and use initiative
Has good workload management skills to meet tight deadlines
This is a part-time (29.00 hours), permanent position.
