Summary

Cover Supervisor – Daily supply across Plymouth and surrounding areas, starting as soon as possibleThese flexible opportunities are ideal for educators who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings.Duties as Cover Supervisor:
  • Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring continuity of learning
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and manage classroom behaviour
  • Support students with their learning and encourage engagement
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
  • Liaise with teaching staff to provide feedback on student progress
  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and school policies
Ideal Cover Supervisor:
  • Experience working with secondary-aged students in an educational setting
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills as a Cover Supervisor
  • Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt to different subjects
  • Confidence in leading groups and promoting positive behaviour
  • A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
