Support for Female Student at University – 3 Days per Week
Non‑Sponsorship Role Experience Essential - Social Care Sector

We are recruiting a dedicated and compassionate female Support Worker to assist a female student during her university timetable. This is part of a structured support programme, with shifts aligned to her academic schedule.
The requirement for a female Support Worker is an occupational requirement under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010 due to the personal care needs and preferences of the student.

About the Role
You will work closely with a university student to support her throughout the academic day, ensuring she is able to participate fully in her course. This includes personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparing (must have basic cooking skills) organisation, and general wellbeing throughout the day.
This role follows the university timetable, meaning no shifts during university holidays.

Shift Details
- 12‑hour day shifts: 7am – 7pm
- 3 shifts per week
- Shift pattern is flexible and can be tailored, but must include at least one weekend day each week
- No work required during university breaks/holidays

Essential Requirements
✔ Female applicant (Equality Act occupational requirement)
✔ Must be experienced in care/support work
✔ Up‑to‑date mandatory/basic training
✔ Reliable, professional, and confident in lone working
✔ Able to commit to 12‑hour shifts
✔ Availability for one weekend day each week
✔ Right to work in the UK – no sponsorship available
✔ Able to provide two recent work references

Ideal Candidate
You will be friendly, dependable, and supportive, with a calm and organised approach. Confidence working in an educational environment and supporting young adults is highly desirable.
