Summary

Location - South Powys
About the role:
Working independently and as part of a team in a project management and contract management role delivering new build council homes.
To be responsible for project and contract risk management, maintaining risk registers, cost trackers, payment processes, lessons learnt, and other
documentation as required and to take appropriate action as part of the risk management plan over high value contracts.
Experience of land appraisal, residential design and planning processes for social housing and ability to maximise grant funding.

What you will do:
To contribute towards meeting the Council’s accommodation needs from land appraisal through to completion.
Take a lead role in the commissioning and procurement of projects/schemes.
Project and contract managing new build development.
Undertake project viability assessments ensuring value for money and meet identified housing.
Identify and secure funding to support delivery of projects.
Produce and present detailed report
