Summary
Frogwell Primary School is a caring and highly inclusive one form entry mainstream school with a supportive and welcoming staff team. Our school also hosts a Resource Base for pupils with complex learning needs.

Frogwell Primary School and Complex Needs Resource Base is seeking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and reflective Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a high-quality classroom practitioner who is passionate about inclusive education and committed to ensuring that all pupils make strong academic, social and personal progress.
The successful candidate will:
Carry out the professional duties of a teacher in line with the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document (STPCD) and Teachers’ Standards (2012)
Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across the primary curriculum
Create a nurturing, inclusive and well-managed learning environment where pupils thrive
Use assessment effectively to inform teaching and support reminder strong pupil progress
Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing and high expectations for all pupils
Take responsibility for the learning, pastoral care and development of pupils
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, parents/carers and external agencies
Contribute positively to the wider life, ethos and vision of the school
There may be opportunities to take responsibility for a curriculum subject or key area of school life, depending on experience and school priorities.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree
Evidence of successful primary teaching to a high standard
Secure subject knowledge across the primary curriculum, including early reading and phonics
A strong understanding of assessment for learning and inclusive practice, including SEND
A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities
High expectations for pupils’ learning, behaviour and personal development
A reflective approach to practice and a commitment to ongoing professional development
The ability to work effectively as part of a supportive and collaborative team
Experience across a range of primary year groups, subject leadership, or training in areas such as restorative practice or de-escalation strategies would be welcomed.
