Summary

We are recruiting an Area Operations Manager within Homelessness Services, working across NI and ROI. What you’ll do: Provide trauma informed leadership, creating a culture of staff retention, performance management, talent development and succession planning and empowering Service Managers to deliver a high-quality service. Take responsibility for contractual oversight of identified services.Coordinate, propose and monitor budgets for services within the area, ensuring compliance and adherence to all required financial processes. Researching cost savings and maximising income streams.Promote and represent the work of The Salvation Army’s Homelessness Services to internal stakeholders, service users, local authorities, strategic bodies and politicians.Emphasise the importance of spiritual ministry within each service.What you’ll bring: Excellent communication skills and passion to drive positive change and significant experience of successfully managing services for socially excluded people.Extensive experience of contract management, developing operational business plans and writing tender submissions for new business.Strong knowledge of current government legislation relating to accommodation and homelessness.We will consider applicants based in ROI or NI for this role.
