Summary

Morgan Hunt are currently working with a leading not-for-profit organisation in their search for an interim Information Governance Assistant to provide vital administrative support within a busy Data Protection & Compliance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised administrator to support a high-volume DSAR inbox, triage queries and ensure requests are progressed efficiently during a period of increased demand.



In this role, you will provide day-to-day support across a busy information governance service, acting as a key point of coordination for DSAR-related administration. You will manage shared inboxes, monitor and track incoming requests, follow up on outstanding information, and support the team in ensuring requests are logged accurately and progressed within required timelines.



This is a delivery-focused interim role, suited to someone who is comfortable working at pace, managing competing priorities and dealing with sensitive information professionally. Experience in public sector or not-for-profit environments would be beneficial, but strong administration skills, attention to detail and confidence using IT systems are essential.





Job Title: Information Governance Assistant

Daily Rate: £110.00 - £116.00 (Umbrella)

Contract Type: Temporary (3-6 months)

Hours: Full-time





Key Responsibilities

· Provide administrative support across a Data Protection / Information Governance team.

· Support a high-volume DSAR inbox, triaging queries and signposting appropriately.

· Log and track requests, ensuring accurate records are maintained throughout the DSAR process.

· Chase outstanding information and follow up with internal stakeholders to progress requests.

· Support the preparation and coordination of disclosure packs and documentation.

· Maintain trackers, spreadsheets and case logs to support workflow visibility and prioritisation.

· Ensure sensitive information is handled appropriately and in line with data protection requirements.

· Provide general admin support to the team as required during the interim period.



Candidate Profile

· Strong administrative background, ideally within public sector or not-for-profit environments.

· Experience managing shared inboxes and high volumes of queries.

· Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.

· Confident working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

· Professional approach to handling sensitive or confidential information.

· Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office / Outlook; comfortable working with trackers and databases.

· A proactive, reliable team player able to support others and maintain service standards.
