Summary
For further information on this role, please see the attached detailed Job Description and Person Specification: To ensure correct identification of patients. To ensure the timely, efficient and courteous provision of imaging services within the available resources. This will involve booking of patient appointments, explanation of procedures, cannulation and injecting of patients, administration of oral, intravenous and inhaled radiopharmaceuticals, as well as operation of the gamma cameras and PET/CT scanner. To provide both qualitative and quantitative results to agreed standards. To ensure that all data analysis, hard copy production and archiving is performed in a timely, consistent and accurate manner. To comply with written systems of work. To ensure statutory and Trust standards for record keeping are adhered to. To ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients and visitors within the department.
