Summary

To effectively manage Older Peoples Social Care financial and administrativeprocesses across CPFT and the relevant Local Authorities. Provide information and support to Social Care Managers relating to the performance of the service under the section 75 agreement. Supervise Band 3 administrative staff. Including undertaking appraisals, formal supervision as well as overseeing the training and development of staff. To jointly manage the administration function to support the service to ensure standards of assessment and legal adherence alongside social care commissioning. Maintain annual leave records for the team, liaising with Social Care Managers to ensure appropriate and continuing cover for the service. Support Social Care Managers with all aspects of the recruitment of staff in line with relevant processes and policies. To support Social Care Team Managers to ensure newly appointed staff undergo their local and Trust inductions. Be responsible for organising and controlling own workload and ensuring deadlines are observed and duties performed efficiently. Work with Social Care Managers to lead on the introduction and proactive management of any new processes and initiatives. To assist in the delivery and development of the service. To be responsible for dealing with telephone and face to face enquiries and other communications with a high degree of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality. Arrange and attend meetings, including booking venues and hospitality if appropriate. To prepare and produce an agenda, collate and distribute all necessary information and documentation, take minutes and action notes as required. Ensure all minutes are issued in a timely manner and ensure agreed actions are appropriately recorded.
