A well-established small sheet metal fabrication business based in Stoke-on-Trent is looking to recruit an experienced Press Brake Setter & Operator on a permanent basis.

We have recently invested in a brand new AMADA HFEM2 3-metre press brake, and this role will play a key part in supporting our ongoing growth.

The Role

• Setting and operating press brake machinery

  
  

• Working accurately from 2D and 3D CAD technical drawings

  
  

• Producing high-quality components to specification

  
  

• Working independently while also collaborating effectively within a small team

  
  

• Supporting and training other team members on press brake setting and operation where required

  
  About You

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience setting and operating press brake machines

    
    

  • Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings (2D & 3D)

    
    

  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail

    
    

  • Comfortable taking initiative and responsibility

    
    

  • Willing to share knowledge and support team development

    
    Hours of Work

    • Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:00pm

      
      

    • Friday: 7:30am – 1:30pm

      
      Pay & Benefits

      • £14.30 – £15.30 per hour, depending on experience

        
        

      • Full-time, permanent position

        
        

      • Stable working hours with an early finish on Fridays
